This guidance is for聽CM聽participants and covers the reporting and verification mechanism process for carbon emissions introduced by the聽Capacity Market (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules 2020 and Capacity Market (Amendment) Rules 2021 and updated by the Capacity Market (Amendment) (No.2) Rules 2022 and Capacity Market (Amendment) Rules 2023.

Guidance should be read in conjunction with the rules and regulations, and where necessary CM participants should seek independent legal advice to establish the obligations in respect of carbon emissions which are applicable.
