Make a legal promise to a court: Form N117
Use this form to record a voluntary and legally binding promise given by a party in a case to do or not do something (an 'undertaking').

Details
A person or organisation involved in a case (a 鈥榩arty鈥�) can give an undertaking to a court on a voluntary basis, instead of the court making an order. The undertaking will be set out in this form.
The party making the promise signs it at the hearing. If they fail to comply with it, they will face penalties (such as a fine, imprisonment or having their assets seized).
