This summary outlines changes to inspection practice. This does not include corrections or changes made to improve clarity in how the framework is written.

We reviewed and redrafted the evaluation criteria. This update did not change the scope or methodology of these JTAIs or the inspectorates鈥� evaluation of effective multi-agency working. The update removed duplication in the criteria and re-organised them to make it easier for inspectors and local partnerships to apply when evaluating the multi-agency response to children and families at the 鈥榝ront door鈥�.

References to the 鈥榗hair of the MASA鈥� added throughout the framework to reflect recent changes to statutory guidance: working together to safeguard children.
